Devin Spears Talent Showcase Scholarship Fund and Basket Raffle Video included

The Endicott Performing Arts Center presents a talent showcase and basket raffle every year. All proceeds from the showcase and raffle will benefit the Devin Spears Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund awards scholarships to local graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education in the arts. The EPAC Devin Spears Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Devin Spears, a member of the EPAC Kids Theater Workshop.

    In 1989 Bill and Carolyn Bandera gave back to their community by holding a free Christmas Day dinner. A small group of 68 people were served a free, hot, homemade meal at The American Legion Post 80 located in the city of Binghamton. 28 years later, the tradition continues. In 2016, more than 3,000 meals were served including 1,200 deliveries.

    In 1989 Bill and Carolyn Bandera gave back to their community by holding a free Christmas Day dinner. A small group of 68 people were served a free, hot, homemade meal at The American Legion Post 80 located in the city of Binghamton. 28 years later, the tradition continues.     Tioga State Bank is teaming up with WBNG and Lourdes Ascension for this year's No Shave November 5K. Last year was Tioga State Banks first partnership to hold the 5K. In Binghamton alone, about 20,000 people are going to face food insecurity. 16,000 kids in the Binghamton City School District rely on free and reduced lunch during the school year, which does not include holiday breaks.

    Saturday, October 8 to Sunday, October 15 is Fire Prevention Week, the theme this year is "Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!"  On Thursday morning Ken Fortier, who is part of the Vestal Fire Department and the Fire Prevention officer, went to Glenwood Elementary school to teach kids about fire prevention.
