My name is Molly Fitzgerald, and I am running for a seat on the Supreme Court in the 6th Judicial District.

Let me take this time to tell you about Supreme Court, why I am qualified, and what distinguishes me from the other candidates.

In the 6th Judicial District, the Supreme Court is a primarily a civil trial court.

It hears cases involving divorce, personal injury, slander and many other civil issues.

This is my area of expertise.

I have spent my career of 20 years litigating in the Supreme Court.

I know the law and I know the qualities that it takes to be an effective and competent judge.

I believe that I have these qualities.

These qualities include - Experience. Integrity. Fairness.

Compassion and Respect for everyone who enters the Courtroom. That includes the litigants, jurors, staff, and the attorneys.

Our legal system is based on an incredible document - the Constitution of the United States.

The constitution comes to life in the court room - there is no place there for condescension or incivility.

Finally, I will broaden the perspective from the bench.

While a judge does not represent voters; judges should be representative of the community in which they serve.

I am a working mother who has three sons.

It is my boys who keep grounded - and raising them has continually reminded me that every individual needs to be listened to and has a voice that needs to be heard. .

I would be honored to serve as a Supreme Court Justice and listen to the individual voices of the 6th Judicial District. Please vote on November 6th!
