The candidates for Vestal Supervisor also make their vote count.
This race is a rematch.
Republican Peter Andreasen is running for his 2nd term.
He voted at the Vestal Town Hall.
Democratic Barry Klipsch is challenging Andreasen for the 2nd time.
Klipsch also cast his vote Vestal Town Hall.
Both hope the voters will agree with their message.
"We knocked on a lot of doors, met a lot of nice people...they seem to want some changes so I'm cautiously optimistic about the results," says Klipsch.
"You don't count the votes til the poles close. So you just wait and hope most of the people feel I've done a good job and that I did it for the good of Vestal," says Andreasen.
Vestal approved a change in the term of Supervisor.
The winner will now serve 4 years instead of 2.
