BC Sheriff's Shooting Update

Broome County Sheriff's Deputy shoots and injures a suspect.
It happened around 2:30 Sunday morning at 208 North Road in West Windsor.
According to Broome County Sheriffs deputies, Richard Siegrist of West Windsor was shot in the leg.
Deputies were sent to the home after several reports of prank phone calls including ordering taxi's to his property.
As one of those cabs approached Siegrist's home, deputies say he fired a shotgun into the air and then pointed it at the cab.
That's when Deputy Allan Bennett fired one shot, hitting Siegrest in the leg.
He was taken to Wilson hospital, where he is listed in stable condition..
Two people have been arrested.
27 year old William Wrighter and 22 year old Erin Dorwart, both of Binghamton are believed to have made the phony calls.
They're charged with Conspiracy, Making a false report, and Aggravated Harrassement.
They were arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
