A robotics company thanks a business incubator for its success.

J H Robotics started as a small family business in his garage nearly 25 years ago.

It now operates here off Main Street in Johnson City.

The company specializes in custom machines, robotics and contract manufacturing

It's building used to a business incubator, which helped J H Robotics expand.

"I'm not that much of a businessman. I wasn't at the time. So you have the resources of the IDA to help you start things up or talk to when you have problems," says John Hartman of JH Robotics.

As JH Robotics grew it needed more space.

It started buying up space in the incubator, until it eventually bought the entire building.

The robotics company now has 35 employees.
