Broxmeyer to Face Felony Charge in the Town of Union

The investigation into the actions of field hockey coach Todd Broxmeyer are continuing as Broxmeyer faces an additional felony count in the Town of Union Court A Felony complaint charging Broxmeyer with Criminal Sexual Act in the first degree was filed yesterday. Broxmeyer will answer the charge upon demand from the Union Court.

He remains in custody but has been transferred to the Tioga County Jail for administrative reasons. The latest charge stems froiii a sexual act committed by use of force against a female less than 16 years of age. The incident occun-ed late in 2007 in the Town of Union. The victim was coached in field hockey by Broxmeyer.

The Broome County Sheriffs Office continues to conduct interviews based on calls relative to the case. Detectives have also coordinated with authorities in areas Broxmeyer has coached in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to address questions and concerns from parents and players who have been in contact with Broxmeyer. Investigators from. the Federal Bureau of liivestigations, Tioga County Sheriffs Office and the New York State Police are assisting in the investigation.
