Federal Grand Jury Indicts Broxmeyer

A Federal Grand Jury on Thursday morning indicted Todd Broxmeyer of Lisle, New York with 2 counts of Production of Child Pornography, I count of Attempted Production of Child Pornography, I count of Transporting a minor in interstate commerce to engage in sexual activity and I count of possession of child pornography. Broxmeyer remains in the Tioga County Jail without bail.

Broxmeyer was arrested by Detectives from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation into a rape that occurred in late December 2007, Upon further investigation it was learned Broxmeyer possessed, produced and attempted to produce. images of females under the age of 18 years in sexually explicit situations. The investigation also uncovered other rape and sexual assault victims and the fact one victim that was transported across state lines by Broxmeyer.

The investigation is continuing in Broome County, Tioga County, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Investigators are interviewing dozens of people and continuing to follow tips reported to The Broome
County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting in the investigation is the Federal Bureau of Investigation, US
Attorneys Office, Broome County District Attorneys Office, New York State Police, Tioga County

Between in and about January of 2007 through December of 2007, in the Northern
District of New York and elsewhere, TODD BROXMEYER, the defndant herein, di.d knowingly and willfully employ, use, persuade, induce, entice and coerce a minor, whose identity is known to the graudjury, to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the puxpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct and said visual depictions were produced using materials that had been mailed, shipped and transported in interstate and foreign commerce by any means, in that, during said time period, the defendant TODD BROXMEYER caused the photographing of a minor female engaged in sexually explicit conduct with the use of a camera which was manufactured outside the State of New York, and each such image is a separate count of this
