Police say they've caught the woman who robbed a Town of Chenango Bank.
Broome County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a robbery at this HSBC bank on Upper front street just before 5 p.m.
They say 53 year old Alicia Mitchell of Chenango Bridge gave a teller a note that demanded money and said she had a gun.
Mitchell then left the bank on foot.
During the search, a deputy spotted a woman getting into a cab about 5 blocks away.
He stopped the cab, and found Mitchell inside with several thousand dollars in cash.
No gun was recovered during the investigation.
Mitchell's charged with 3rd degree robbery.
