A fast moving fire destroyed a Binghamton home.

Fire fighters arrived at 1 Tremont Avenue just after 2 p.m. to find flames shooting out windows.

5 people including one child escaped safely.

A few were playing video games on the first floor when they noticed the fire.

"We looked outside his room door, and we seen smoke on the ceiling, so we grabbed our stuff and ran out of the house. But we didn't think it was that big. We looked on side of the house, and there was fire coming out of the side of the house," says Sierra Jones of Binghamton.

Firefighters say the flames quickly claimed the home's 3 floors.

City Fire investigators are still on the scene, looking into a cause.
