A Greyhound Bus crashed off Interstate-81 North in Binghamton.

The driver lost control while taking Exit 4.

The bus slid 50 feet off the ramp and slammed into a tree.

7 people were hurt and brought to the hospital for minor injuries.

There appeared to be a few dozen people who were on board.

"It happened so quickly, so a lot of people hit their head on the chairs in front of them," says Debra Gleaser of New York City.

"Before I could even try to cover my face or anything, it was over," says Kenneth Carl Martin of Endicott.

Binghamton Fire Fighters who responded say a student driver was at the wheel.

He was being observed by a senior driver for Greyhound.

Another bus was brought in to pick up the passengers who were headed for Syracuse.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
