An overnight crash turns into a police chase in the Town of Chenango.

Broome County Sheriffs say 42 year old James Keesler of Castle Creek crashed his truck into a fence on Brotzman Road before 10 Wednesday night.

When Deputies arrived, they discovered Keesler fled the scene.

A K-9 was used to track him through a nearby barn and into some woods.

After eluding authorities for 4 miles, Keesler was eventually found and arrested on State Route 11 near East Hill Road in the Town of Barker.

Keesler now faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest, DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal trespass.

Keesler was arraigned in Town of Chenango Court and sent to the Broome County Sheriffs Correctional facility in lieu of bail.
