A Vestal woman is under arrest, charged with grand larceny and identity theft.

Johnson City police arrested 32 year old Stacie Congdon after they found nearly 5 thousand dollars worth of furniture, appliances and other electronics in her home, along with stolen credit cards and other personal records.

They believe there were 3 separate victims of this crime.

Congdon faces four charges including grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument and identity theft.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.

In an unrelated case, Johnson City police also arrested 2 Binghamton University students for identity theft and fraud.

Police say they found nearly 26 thousand dollars worth of high tech electronic gear in the dorm room of 21 year old Felix Ofori and 20 year old Derreck Boateng.

They believe it was bought with a stolen credit card number.

Ofori is charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property and one count of identity theft.

Boateng was charged with tampering with physical evidence.

He was given an appearance ticket for Vestal court at a later date.
