This wonderfully warm day may only be the start of trouble.

A rapid snow melt mixed with a forecast for heavy rain.

The Twin Tiers is under a flood watch.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service are tracking a storm with a wide range of precipitation.

They are predicting moderate flooding for places like Conklin and Vestal.

Flooding that could cause damage.

"If you're one of the homes that's more low lying closer to the river in Conklin or Vestal, or a property owner closer to the river, keep a close eye on the weather and our forecasts," says Michael Shaffner of the National Weather Service.

Also watch for the potential for water to rise over some secondary but widely used roads.

Other areas could see minor flooding.
