Woman Charged with Stealing Vicodin

A Binghamton woman is behind bars this afternoon, after Sheriff's deputies say she stole more than 20,000 vicodin pills from a local pharmacy.
23 year old Samantha Zaber, was arrested yesterday at this rite-aid pharmacy on upper front street in the Town of Chenango, where she worked as a pharmacists assistant.
According to the Broome Sheriff's office, Zaber was caught on a store surveillance camera taking the pills from the pharmacy.
The investigation led Deputies to her apartment here at 7 McDonald Ave.. in the City of Binghamton,where they found over 1,000 dollars in cash believed to be involved in the sale of the drugs.
Zaber was arranged in Town of Barker Court on charges of grand larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
She was taken to the Sheriff's office correctional facility without bail and is waiting action in Brome County Court.
