Endicott Man Sentenced in Sex Assault Against A Child Case

Today in Broome County Court, Tyrell R. Sinclair (21) of Endicott, was sentenced by Judge Joseph F. Cawley to concurrent indeterminate terms in state prison of 10 years to life in connection with his February 5, 2008 plea of guilty to two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child.

The defendant was indicted in October 2007 and charged with five counts of Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child, ten counts of Sex Abuse in the First, three counts of Sex Abuse in the Second, one count of Attempted Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The ages of the five alleged victims ranged from six to fourteen years of age.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney, Torrance L. Schmitz.
