The Village of Waverly could be getting a new village hall.
The current building is more than 100 years old.
It is home to the village court and police department.
Electrical wires are exposed, old windows will not close, and it is not handicapped accessible.
The village is looking into renovation or moving the hall to an old school.
"There is going to be a hit on the village residents and the village taxpayers. So what we have to do, we have to be very careful on how we spend our money. I think ultimately when it's done it's going to come down to what does the village really want" said Waverly Mayor Kyle McDuffee.
The mayor believes it would cost the village about 2 million dollars
He expects a detailed outline of possible projects to be completed in a few weeks.
