Step outside Tuesday and you'll notice just how warm it is. Usually, it is much colder and there is a decent coating of snow on the ground.
The record temperatures are stalling the start of some winter businesses. Local bare ski slopes would make any diehard skier wince in the dead of winter.
Even though local ski areas won’t start worrying till late December, at Woods Valley in Westernville they’ve started to take matters into their own hands. They started making snow last weekend and are hoping for cold nights so they can make more this week. It will take 250 hours to make enough snow to cover all of the slopes.
