Elmira Man Charged With Kidnapping

An Elmira man is charged with kidnapping his estranged girlfriend.

20 year-old Kyle Ross of Elmira is charged with kidnapping in the 2nd degree, a felony.

Elmira Police say Ross abducted his ex-girlfriend at gun-point around 2 AM Sunday morning.

It happened as the woman was sitting in her vehicle at the intersection of East Center Street, and Grand Central Ave.

The woman was found unharmed hours later.

Ross will be arraigned Monday in Elmira City Court.
