The home on Fox street in Horseheads was ripped apart early Saturday morning.
New York State Electric and Gas, police and fire investigators are looking into whether the blast might have been caused by a natural gas leak.
So far, they don't know what caused the massive explosion.
Ken and Christina Peterson, their 2 sons and a cousin were injured.
About 2 dozen neighboring homes and businesses were damaged.
