St Joseph's School in Endicott could be the one to close.
Superintendent Dr Paul King says he's discussed the possible move with Father Jim Serowik of St. Joseph's Parish.
King says next year, the school may be too expensive to operate, citing rising salaries, and fuel costs.
If it does close, students from St. Joseph would go to Our Lady of Sorrows Seton Campus.
King says nothing is definite, and discussions will last until late February.
Any recommendation on the schools future would have to go to the School Superintendent for the Diocese of Syracuse, and Bishop James Moynihan for approval.
