With your help, the Red Cross exceeded it's goal of collecting 200 pints of blood, for their annual holiday blood drive. The blood drive was held at the Holiday Inn University in Vestal.

The total amount of pints donated was 290.The 2 day total was a surprise Red Cross officials, who had so many booked appointments, they had to turn away some walk-ins.Besides Summer, the holiday season is the most difficult time for the Red Cross to keep blood flowing into local hospitals.
But this season, that wasn't the case.

If you would like to find out about Red Cross blood drives, you can call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE. WBNG would like to thank everyone who came out to donate.
