Congratulations to WBNG-TV Vice President and General Manager Joe McNamara.

He's accepted a job as Vice President and General Manager of a TV station in Honolulu, Hawaii.McNamara will be running KHON-TV, the Fox channel for the Hawaiian islands.

His last day on the job here is Friday, January 27th.

Joe's career at WBNG-TV has spanned 24 years.

He's 49 years old, and says at this point in his life, running a TV station in Hawaii is a great opportunity, although he'll miss the Binghamton area community and the people.

No one has been named to replace him.

Last week it was announced Granite Broadcasting is buying WBNG-TV in a deal that should be complete in a few months.
