The next school year will be the last for Chenango Valley's Superintendent.

Carmen Ciullo announced his intention to retire at the end of the 2008-2009 school year.

Ciullo has been superintendent since 1997 and has spent 35 years in Education.

In that time he's overseen technology and school renovations in the District.

Also, moving to full day kindergarten.

This district has recently gone through a tough budget process due to a 3 million dollar deficit and failure to get voter approval.
