An early morning police chase in Broome County lands one person behind bars.
The Broome County Sheriff's Office say 34-year-old Kevin Brink of Great Bend stole a Dodge Intrepid out of the Manley's Mighty Mart parking lot in Kirkwood. A sheriff's deputy tried to stop the stolen car, but Brink didn't pull over. He led the deputy on a chase that ended at Circle Drive in the Town of Union. Brink had 10 active suspensions on his license. He also had a small amount of marijuana on him.
Brink's is charged with criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and unlawful possesion of marijuana. He was arraigned in Town of Union court, and remains in Broome County jail without bail.
