An Otsego county man faces up to 25 years in prison after being found guilty of killing his wife.

50-year-old Timothy Beckingham of Jordanville was found guilty of first-degree manslaughter at the Otsego County Courthouse Friday evening.

In July of 2004, investigators accused him of killing his wife, Joanne Beckingham, at the couple's home in Springfield.

An autopsy revealed that she'd suffered several broken ribs and bled to death. Investigators believe her wounds were the result of a domestic dispute that turned physical.

Beckingham is in Otsego County Jail without bail. He's scheduled to be sentenced May 1st.
