Dale Cook is the Girls Varsity Softball and Boys Varsity Basketball coach.
School Board members were expected to discuss his resignation at Thursday night's regular meeting.
But Cook rescinded it earlier in the day.
There's no word on why he changed his mind.
It all started Sunday, when Cook submitted a letter to the school saying he couldn't coach for a district that wouldn't support him.
He blamed it on "pressure" from some parents on the boys basketball team.
Some basketball players spoke at Friday's meeting and accused Cook of verbal and physical abuse.
Some members of the girls softball team spoke in Cook's defense.
"He's worked with me whenever I needed help, including family, school and game situations. He has made me into a better person and all-around individual. He's helped not only me, but he has helped many other athletes from grade school on up to better themselves," says softball player Becca Wiggins.
The girls softball team elected not to practice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after it learned of Cook's resignation.
A school spokesman says Cook technically isn't the boys varsity basketball coach anymore.
He says all coaches are assigned on a year-to-year basis.
So once the season ended, so did Cook's job as head coach.
Cook was unavailable for comment.
