An empty tractor trailor on I-81 south rolled over, then caught fire.
It happened in the Town of Barker, just south of Whitney Point, just after 2:30 Monday afternoon.
State Police say the woman driving the rig fell asleep at the wheel.
The truck veered into the guide rail, rolled over onto the side of the highway, and caught fire.
State Police are not releasing the driver's name, but say she was not injured, escaping through a window in the roof of the cab.
Interstate 81 south was closed to all traffic at Whitney Point for about 2 hours.
It re-opened around 4:30.
