An attempted bank robbery in Binghamton leads police to a whole lot more.
At about 9:45 Saturday morning, 37-year-old Debra Calderone-White went to Partners Trust Bank on Robinson Street in Binghamton where, according to Binghamton Police, she told a teller that she was about to do something stupid, that she wanted $300, and she had a gun. When the teller refused to give Calderone-White money, she left.
Police found her outside in a car with 16-year-old Tyrone Walker. In the car, police found crack cocaine. Walker is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Calderone-White is charged with attempted robbery.
Both are due to be arraigned Saturday.
