High Speed Chase Leads To Arrests

A Binghamton man leads police on a high-speed chase in the Town of Union.

A Broome County Deputy attempted to pull over 17 year-old Ronald Dickson of Binghamton around 3:20 Sunday afternoon, for a traffic violation.

Dickson initially pulled over on Airport Road in the Town of Dickinson, when the deputy got out of his vehicle, Dickson drove off.

The chase reached speeds over 110 miles per hour.

Dickson then pulled over at Airport, and Lewis Road in the Town of Union.

When he and two other passengers fled on foot.

Dickson is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a felony.

Reckless Endangerment, a felony.

Resisting Arrest and fleeing police, misdemeanors.

Along with 9 other traffic violations.

Passenger Lawrence Rollocks was charged with Criminal Possession of stolen property in the third degree, and resisting arrest.

Rollocks, and Dickson were arraigned in the Town of Union Court, and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.
