July 22, 2010 Updated Nov 21, 2008 at 12:06 AM EDT

Police say a homeless man is responsible for spray painting the name of a missing woman on walls in Binghamton.

Last Friday, police arrested 54 year old Michael Petrucci.

They say last May he spray painted Bambi Madden's name, along with the phone number of the Binghamton FBI, on this wall near the Front Street.

Madden's family noticed the message and notified the police.

Petrucci is charged with making graffiti and possession of graffiti material.

He's set to appear in city court tomorrow.

Bambi Madden went missing in January of 2006.
