Huron Accident Update

58 year old Ronald Walter of Brackney is at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
He's being treated for 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
54 year old Marion Korcipa of Endicott died shortly after the accident at the Huron Campus in Endicott on Thursday.
Korcipa and Walter were doing maintenance work on a pressurized steam pipe in building 14.
A valve burst, spewing hot steam and shrapnel.
Walter managed to pull the fire alarm to evacuate the building.
Both men were rushed to Wilson Hospital with burns.
Korcipa was pronounced dead.
A Huron and Endicott firefighter were both injured in the rescue.
Huron says OSHA is investigating what caused the pipe to rupture.
The company says its thoughts are with the men's families.
Korcipa's wife is also an employee at Endicott Interconnect on the Huron campus.
Huron is providing grief counseling for workers.
