Former friends testify about a Broome County man, accused of killing his parents and brother.
32 year old Steven Colegrove, is accused of shooting his mother, father and brother with a shotgun in their Tuscarora Township home back in 2007.
Several friends of Colegrove took the stand this morning.
Many of them testified that Colegrove was a generous person, often buying things for other people.
But they also say that Colegrove lied to them.
He told them that he had colon cancer and was going to Chicago for treatment.
Colegrove also told people that he was getting a large sum of money from the military for re-enlisting.
Pennsylvania State Police are expected to take the stand this afternoon to discuss what they found when they went to the Colegrove home.
Defense attorneys expect to start their case on Monday.
No word on whether Colegrove will testify on his own behalf.
