An indictment charges 30 year old Guillermo Payano of Ithaca with murder and other drug related crimes.

In May of 2000, Miller's body was found behind this former metals factory off Spencer Road.

Police say he had been shot in the head.

Miller also used the last name Sykes, and had homes in Ithaca and New York City,

Federal prosecutors believe his murder is connected to a violent drug trafficking ring in Ithaca.

They say others were targets of attempted murder, drive by shootings, armed robberies and kidnapping from 1994 to 2002.

Besides Payano and 3 other Ithaca men are also charged with drug conspiracy and racketeering.

They're 29 year old Benoni Bryant, 25 year old Pablo Lopez, and 29 year old Darnell Shepherd.
