47 year old Kenneth Pat Williams of Owego was on the witness stand for about an hour inside the Tioga County Courthouse in Owego.

Williams says he did nothing wrong with children at his wife's daycare.

Kenneth Williams is accused of sexually touching a 3 year old girl in 2005.

She was attending Little Cubby Day Care, run by his wife Carol in the couple's Owego home.

Williams gave his account of what happened.

He asked the girl if she wet herself, and she said no.

But Williams said kids don't always to the truth, so he put his hand down her pants to check anyway.

He claims he used the back of his hand to check for wetness, something he never told anyone before.

He also claims he never touched the girl's skin or private area.

The prosecution says regardless of William's story, he should have known better than to put his hands down any child's pants.

Williams also responded to another girls claim that he raped her in the upstairs bathroom of the home in 2003.

She was 4 at the time.

Williams said he never went into the bathroom with any child.

But on the stand Wednesday, his wife did say sometimes Williams would take the children to the bathroom, but she never saw him go inside.

Williams also stated he is not sexually attracted to little girls, as the prosecution claims.
