After serving time for child abuse, a Delaware County man now faces sex abuse charges.
Thursday Delaware County Sheriff's arrested 41-year-old Michael Steinmetz of Davenport.
Steinmetz was arrested for sexual conduct involving a 15-year-old boy, and sex abuse involving a girl less than 11 years old.
The new charges come after Steinmetz already served jail time for child abuse.
In May Steinmetz was sentenced to six months in jail for chaining the boy to the floor as a punishment.
Steinmetz lived with the boy's mother in Davenport at the time.
Delaware County Sheriff Thomas Mills says the alleged sex crimes happened before the chaining incident.
Steinmetz was sent to the Delaware County Jail to wait for a court hearing.
