A man accused of killing a state trooper goes on trial tomorrow.

Jury selection will begin in Chemung County for the trial of 33-year-old Anthony Horton.

Horton is accused of killing state trooper Andrew Sperr in March.

Police say Horton and two other men robbed a Chemung County bank.

Trooper Sperr pulled over their vehicle, and that's when police say Horton shot him.

Horton is the first to go on trial for Sperr's death.

The other two men involved, Bryan and Wayne Adams, will also face trials for their alleged roles in the killing.
