Binghamton Police say test results link a weapon to an unsolved murder.

In late August, 34-year-old Christopher Smith of Endicott was shot to death in broad daylight on Clinton Street.

A few days later, police say someone found a gun on Binghamton's East side.

Police say ballistic tests now confirm that was the gun used in the shooting.

Investigations continue in the case, and no arrests have been made.

Police are looking for two men, possibly in a dark brown or black SUV.
