A vestal teacher is facing sex abuses charges involving two students.
Peter Hartmann teaches music at Vestal middle school.
Hartmann is now facing two charges of sex abuse, accused of contact with two students at the school.
Action News spoke to Hartmann today, who said "there is no story here" and advised us to speak with his attorney.
Vestal Superintendent Mark Capobianco says he sent a letter to parents informing them of the situation.
Capobianco says the letter told parents that Hartmann was arrested on the two charges and that the teacher would not be returning to work until the case is dealt with.
