Back in August, a piece of cornice, or decorative roofing, came lose from the Press Building.

Pigeon droppings and dirt fell onto Chenango Street and the sidewalk.

A scaffold had to be put up so crews could replace the cornice.

It should come down by Thursday night.

But Press Building co-owner, Mark Yonaty, now plans to replace the rest of the cornice surrounding the roof.
