Forget about using the Court Street bridge to get into downtown Binghamton for a few days--it's closed again.
After opening it for a short time, crews closed the bridge yesterday to pour a final layer of cement.
The bridge had been closed for a time last week to allow the first layer to set.
Detours are in place this weekend to get downtown.
The bridge is set to re-open to traffic on Tuesday morning.
The entire bridge is being redone with a new surface, sidewalks, traffic signals and street lights.
The Binghamton Mayor's office says the project should be finished by January.
