Students Have Goodbye Crawl

July 22, 2010 Updated May 14, 2009 at 10:39 PM EDT

Binghamton University students crawl their way to a good time.

Tonight, students hit the streets for the annual pub crawl.

For seniors, it's their last night out in Binghamton.

With mugs in hand, they trekked down Main Street, stopping at bars on their way downtown and they weren't alone.

Law enforcement was also present keeping a watchful eye, and making sure things didn't get out of hand.

"We've been planning this for a couple weeks now," said Sergeant D.W. Edwards of the Binghamton Police Department. "We have extra patrols on, working overtime and following the pub crawl down Main Street and as we get down in this area we'll have extra patrols here tonight."

Police quickly broke it up and no arrests were made.

More than 10 officers monitored the festivities.

As of 10:40 p.m. three students had been arrested for disorderly conduct.
