A work-related accident in Chenango Bridge claims the life of a Town of Chenango man.
New York State Police say it happened at Bert Adams Disposal, here at 521 Main Street.
Troopers responded to the scene around 12:20 this afternoon.
Police say 35 year-old Shawn Brown was working on the body of a large recycling truck.
The truck bed released and pinned him against the vehicle frame.
Brown was found by a co-worker who called 9-1-1.
Brown was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
New York State Police and the United States Occupational, Safety and Health Administration are continuing the investigation.
