Giant Markets is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit, accused of getting trade secrets from a rival supermarket chain.

Price Chopper is suing Giant for 20 million dollars.

In the lawsuit, Price Chopper claims Giant routinely received advance notice of Price Chopper's promotional items and sales prices.

The complaint states that a man was arrested when he was caught taking copies of Price Chopper's advertising fliers from Price Chopper before they went out to the public.

And, he was even caught by surveillance cameras.

Price Chopper claims the fliers were given to a 2nd man, who in turn, handed them over to the Director of Operations for Giant Markets.

The lawsuit states is was an on-going conspiracy for at least 6 months.

Giant Markets says it just learned of the lawsuit and has not had a chance to review it.
