More than one hundred people packed into the Church of Epiphany in Sayre to pay their respects to David and Carol Keeffe.

"Just a way of paying respect to an outstanding couple and an outstanding family," said Lisa McQueeny of Sayre.

The Keeffe's were married 35 years.

Carol was from Waverly, while David was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The couple leaves behind a 25-year-old son and 31-year-old daughter.

David was a well known and respected attorney with his family's law firm, DeSisti and Keeffe.

One family friend remembered Keeffe's work in the courtroom.

"He was quite simply the finest lawyer that I have ever seen, in any courtroom, anywhere in this state," said Robert McGuiness of Sayre.

Now McGuinness and others wait as police search for who killed the Keeffe's.

State Police say their were shot to death at their home here in Athens Township on November 17th.

Investigators have not released the names of suspects, or a possible motive.

The DiSisti and Keeffe law firm is offering a 10 thousand dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
