Two people are recovering tonight from serious injuries, after their car ran into a house.

It happened Saturday morning on route 79 in Itaska, that's in the Town of Barker.

Police say 21-year-old Kellen Spencer was speeding when his car ran off the road.

That's when his vehicle hit this home at 76-85 route 79.

The home was badly damaged, and the residents can't live there.

After hitting the home, Spencer's car rolled onto its roof and down a river bank.

Spencer was airlifted and taken to Wilson Hospital.

He's in serious condition.

His passenger, 21-year-old Natasha Baker, suffered head and neck injuries.

She's in critical condition at Wilson.

Police say alcohol and speed were factors in the accident.
