2 Men Arrested in Binghamton Shooting

Binghamton Police arrested 23 year old Ricardo Ellis and 30 year old Sherman Norwood, both of Binghamton.

The two men are accused of shooting 32 year old Cartrell Brooks in the buttocks outside the Rock B Tavern on Conklin Avenue last night.

Police believe an argument started inside the bar and moved outside where a shotgun was fired.

Ellis is charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Norwood is charged with assault and criminal possesion of a weapon.

Both Ellis and Norwood are spending the night in the Binghamton lock-up and will be arraigned tomorrow morning.
