A teenager is under arrest for a stabbing in Tompkins County.
It happened Tuesday in Dryden. New York State Police arrested a 15-year-old after he called 911 to report the stabbing and request an ambulance.
Police say the boy stabbed a family member multiple times during an argument, causing severe internal injuries.
54-year-old Bruce Mead of Dryden was taken to Cayuga Medical Center, then transferred to Robert Packer Hospital, where he's in critical condition.
The teen is being charged as an adult for first-degree assault.
He was arraigned in Town of Caroline Court and is in the custody of Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.
