Two Arrested in Binghamton Drug Bust

On August 13, 2009 members from the Broome County Special Investigations Task Force and the Binghamton Police Department’s Community Response Team arrested two Johnson City residents following a traffic stop on Riverside Drive in the city. Members were investigating the illegal sale of crack cocaine within the city. Members arrested Larry C. Daniel, a 30 year old black male and Jennifer L. Armondi, a 24 yr. old white female after seizing approximately 24 grams of crack cocaine and $682 in U.S. currency. Binghamton Police Department’s K-9 “Razor” assisted task force members in locating the crack cocaine.

Both Armondi and Daniel were charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree, B felonies and are currently being held in the city lock up.

The Broome County Special Investigations Task Force is made up of members of the Binghamton Police Department and the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
