Flood Surveys On The Way In Conklin

Next week, the Town will send flood damage survey's to about 25 hundred homeowners. They'll help get an accurate assessment of damage, so homeowners and the town can get as much state and federal aid as possible.
Conklin Supervisor Debbie Preston estimates nearly 130 homes were destroyed in last June's flood, and more than 300 were damaged.
Preston says the survey's will help assess remaining homes, and property where homes were washed away.
And she's asking for the forms back as soon as possible, to help the Susquehanna Valley School District balance it's budget before May.
