Soldier from Candor Killed in Iraq

The Department of Defense also says another area soldier died in Iraq.

21-year-old Nathan Fairlie of Candor died Friday.

The Department of Defense says he died after an improvised explosive device detonated near him during combat in Baqubah.

Fairlie was a private first class assigned to the 1st Cavalary Division based out of Fort Hood, Texas.
